Kasey Snyder, our Sales Operations Manager, was recently interviewed by Vonnie Estes for the IFPA’s “Fresh Takes on Tech” podcast, which examines how technology supports the professionals and businesses in the fresh produce chain that are shaping the future of the produce industry.
In the episode Kasey talks about what brought her to Finland and how she ended up working for Netled. She explains what Netled is and how its products and services differentiate from competitors. She also talks about Netled’s customers, its technology and R&D, and the company’s growth plans, as well as sharing her thoughts on the controlled environment agriculture industry in general.
Kasey also talks about sustainability and energy use in CEA and discusses the three biggest misconceptions about vertical farming.
Finally, Kasey also talks about the Fresh Field Catalyst Accelerator programme, a six-month accelerator for global companies aimed at bringing innovative technical solutions to the produce and floral industry. Netled was selected for the programme in May as one of the 12 winners.
