In spring 2017 Kotipelto nursery made rental agreement on greenhouse of Sybimar, which operates fish production facility in the same location. New growing area is certified for organic production. This fall 2017 greenhouse was equipped with LED-lighting.
“In organic production we use organic fertilizers and soil. We use the CO2 and extra heat formed in fish production facility and this makes our carbon footprint smaller. Ecological solutions are very important for us. That is why we wanted also to invest in LED-lighting.
