Netled will return to Indoor Ag-Con this year in Las Vegas, Nevada. Netled’s CEO, Niko Kivioja, will join the exhibitor team and will also be a panel speaker at the event.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Indoor Ag-Con is the largest indoor agriculture trade show and conference in the USA. The event will take place once again at Caesar’s Forum in Las Vegas and will co-locate with the National Grocers Association (NGA) Show, the leading trade show and conference for independent grocers.
“It’s always great to attend Indoor Ag-Con in person,” says CEO, Niko Kivioja. “It’s a long flight from Finland, but it’s worth it. I’m really looking forward to joining the panel discussion and talking to attendees at the event. And, of course, Las Vegas is always fun.”
Expert panelists to discuss the state of the industry
Niko will be a panelist on the “Hardball: The State of the Vertical Farming Industry” panel discussion that will take place on Monday February 27 at 2:00pm – 2:45pm PST on the Expo Theater Session track.
The panel discussion promises to be a highly interactive, audience-driven session with a straightforward discussion with the expert panelists. From profitability to future growth, energy use, best practices and more, the panel will cover all the key issues and hot topics everyone’s asking about. There has been plenty of news about the industry challenges in the media of late, but a combination of technology and farm operation seems to be the key, and Netled believes it has struck just the right balance.
“I think it’s great that we can speak openly about the industry’s challenges and answer audience questions.” adds Kivioja.
Niko will be joined on the panel by Jason Green, CEO & Co-Founder, Upward Farms, and Andrew Howell, Vice President of Sustainable Food & Agriculture, Ceres Partners. The Moderator for the discussions will be Robert Colangelo, Founding Farmer/President, Green Sense Farms Holdings, Inc.
