“We are extremely honored by this acknowledgement. I’m glad our persistent work is getting national attention. Finland, and the entire world, need growth companies that are tackling the negative effects of climate change”, says Netled CEO Niko Kivioja.

Fast growth

Factors contributing to Netled’s rapid growth are the fresh produce industry’s increasing interest towards sustainable growing methods and Netled’s successful project sales and delivery.

Within the past year, Netled has designed and built two commercial-scale Vera vertical farms in the Nordics. The facility in Sweden produces private label herbs for ICA, Sweden’s largest grocery retailer, and the herbs grown in the facility in Finland are sold across the biggest grocery retailer chains, S and K, in Pirkanmaa area.

International markets

For future growth, Netled is expanding globally, the United States as the core focus area. Decades of experience in indoor growing, combined with advanced technology expertise and project management skills create a good path for success.

“The scalability, proven efficiency, real competitive advantage, and market demand play a big role in our success. At the core of it all, is our talented and hard-working team,” Kivioja says.
