Originally from Mikkeli in the Southern Savonian region of Finland, Sanna has an MBA in Marketing and Organisational Communications from the University of Jyväskylä. She has also completed studies at Claremont Graduate University and Claremont Colleges, California.
“Like many people, I am concerned with environmental issues. Netled addresses two significant challenges our world is facing: climate change and food insecurity.”
Sanna most recently completed a three-year stint in New York City as an Adviser on Commercial and Trade Affairs at the Consulate General of Finland in New York, prior to which she worked in various marketing and communications roles at Kesko, one of the biggest retailing conglomerates in Finland with approximately 1800 grocery stores in seven countries.
“Netled is at a particularly interesting stage in its internationalisation, so it is a real privilege to join the team at this point in time. I wanted to work for a company that makes a real impact on environmental issues – and now I’m thrilled to say that’s exactly what I am doing. ”
Sanna joins Netled at an important stage in its journey.
“Netled has experienced remarkable growth during 2021, and in order to maintain this momentum and grow even further, we need to take our communications to the next level. Sanna is the perfect choice to do precisely that.” says Niko Kurumaa, Chief Operating Officer.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Sanna on board.”, Kurumaa adds.
