Markus Takala joins the team here at Netled as Head of Projects with effect from 18th July 2022 and brings with him expertise in project management and process development.

Netled hosted a discussion on the role of vertical farming in the current political context in Finland from the environmental and security of supply point of view at SuomiAreena, Finland’s largest social festival, held in Pori on 11 – 15 July. Organized by MTV, a major Finnish television network, and the City of Pori, the festival is free to the public.

Netled’s client, Oh My Greens (OMG), opens its industrial-scale vertical farm in Söderfors, Sweden, to produce high-quality herbs for ICA, Sweden’s leading grocery retailer. The herbs will be available for consumers in June 2022.

Collaboration between Netled and Primo, a global plastic profile extrusion manufacturer, has resulted in the world’s most intelligent gutters for Vera® vertical farming systems. Primo will showcase the RFID-tagged gutters designed in collaboration with Netled at Greentech in Amsterdam on June 14th - 16th.
